Mohammed Ghonaim serves as a Non-executive, Independent Member of the Board of Managers at NBG Capital. He is currently a Venture Partner and Advisor at ClearGrid Debt Collection L.L.C. and serves as an Independent Board Member at Saudi Networkers Services Company. He has also served as a Venture Partner and Board Member for Sharaka Venture Capital Funds I and II, as well as the firm’s Fintech Fund, since 2022, 2024, and 2025 respectively. Previously, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer of D360 Bank, the first digital bank in Saudi Arabia, where he led the bank from concept and licensing through launch and rapid scale, reaching over two million customers. Prior to that, he worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager, advising financial services and public sector clients, and held entrepreneurial and leadership roles at Rocket Internet as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia. He began his professional career at Saudi Aramco as a Project Engineer.
Mohammed holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Manchester.
